Welcome to the maiden blog post for PinoySchoolReviews.com.

I decided to separate this blog from our main school review site so that I can concentrate more on blogging separately from my reviewing activities.

My aim is to post relevant information and my personal opinion about the Philippine school system, both private and public, on all levels and really hoping that, in the end, you will be sharing your views on this as well.  I would imagine holding discussions with you on this blog as you comment favorably and against my own insights and reports.  If we come to that point, then I will consider this blog successful and my targets achieved.

By blogging what I think about the Pinoy schools and how it affects our kids in a very strong way and you guys interacting with me, I am hoping that we, can collectively raise awareness to every Filipino parent (especially those who are new and unaware), young and old, and help them in every way possible to instill the importance of education especially to the young Filipino children.  This is needed to continue the cycle of valuing education in every kids life.

I am personally is a product of a family whose main focus for us is education.  It is so important that we have to hurdle many challenges and hardships along the way.  But in the end, all is well to me and my brother so, in return, we too are so focused on our child’s education. We feel that this area of parenting cannot be shortchanged and there are no shortcuts.  And in our search for what is good or, in its superlative, what is best for our kids, I have come up with a school review site that I believe will be helpful to all responsible and education-oriented parents that many Filipinos are known for.

This is our mission for building this school review and rating site.  And we hope that we really can be of help to you in our small way.
